​​​​​​​Journalist writer: Ocalan wants to give peoples the right to self-determination

 The Turkish occupation state continues to impose strict isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and no information has been received about the health of leader Ocalan since March 25, 2021.

 On this subject and to discuss the reasons for the continued isolation of the leader and the popular reactions towards it, our agency conducted an interview with the Egyptian journalist writer Mohsen Awadallah.

 'A different and exceptional person in the Middle East'

 At the beginning of his speech, he described the leader as the unique personality in the history of the Middle East, if not in the whole world, and said in this regard, "I believe that Mr. Abdullah Ocalan is a person who came at a crucial period of time in the Middle East to play the role of the developer of the region that has always ruled with iron and fire,  whose peoples have been subjected to oppression and has always been a hotbed for all corrupt regimes.”

 He added, "Abdullah Ocalan has been detained for 24 years. He spent his youth within the prison walls in an atmosphere that leads to despair, frustration and depression, but he is a different and exceptional person in the Middle East, as he transformed these darkness into the energy of light, and through it he was able to sweep these barriers and darkness to express his words that he has refined inside prison to the prospects of the Middle East and the world.

 About the spread of the leader’s philosophy, Awadullah says, “The leader Ocalan has become one of the most popular personalities that have supporters from all over the world, and we have witnessed how his words are addressed and circulated on all virtual and other means of communication, in addition to his pictures that were raised in various capitals of the world.  for nothing, but because he devoted his life to the struggle for the freedom of oppressed peoples."

He pointed out that the leader Ocalan possesses the keys to solving and developing the crises of the Middle East and ending the era of tyranny in the region, saying, "Perhaps this is the reason for Ocalan's suffering. Neither the Middle East nor the West wants the peoples of the region to enjoy freedom and democracy, but rather they want to occupy us always in battles and conflicts based on sectarianism, so they do not stand up for them and raise their voice so that this region will remain a point of epidemic for the whole world.”

 'Not only a Kurdish leader, but an internationalist leader'

 Awadullah believes that "the leader Ocalan presented a project to unite these discordant peoples, unify their words and end their crises, through the project of the democratic nation, which threatens all existing thrones because it grants the people self-rule."

 And he indicated that the leader Abdullah Ocalan raised the banner of struggle in the face of all those who steal the money of their people and kill them, and that Ocalan is not only a Kurdish leader but an international leader who fights for the peoples of the Middle East if not for all oppressed peoples, and that is why demands for his freedom have become a slogan for many  of peoples all over the world.

 Concerning the goal of kidnapping the leader Ocalan, Awadullah said, "Turkey's crisis is not with the leader Ocalan as a person, nor with the leader as a Kurdish leader but the robbers of the wealth and liberties of peoples.”

 Noting that countries, including Western countries, met to love the international conspiracy that led to the kidnapping of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, stressing that his kidnapping is "the biggest issue that exposes the lie of human rights around the world, as we have not heard from the capitalist countries any condemnation of the practices against the leader under inhumane conditions."  Almost a quarter of a century ago.
