​​​​​​​Turkish occupation tightens screws on people of border village of Kîl Hesnakê

The village of Kîl Hesnakê located 17 km northeast of Tirbespiya is one of the border villages, whose residents have not been spared for years from the crimes of the Turkish occupation’s gendarmerie, including burning their crops, targeting them and their livestock with live bullets, and preventing them from working in their fields.

The last crime of the occupation was committed on Friday (May 19) when it directly shot the people of Kîl Hesnakê village who were grazing their livestock and working within their agricultural lands.

The citizen Farman and his livestock were exposed to the fire of the Turkish occupation soldiers on Friday while he was grazing his sheep on the edge of the village.

Farman noted that the Turkish occupation is targeting the people despite the patrols of the guarantors in the area - the Russian and American forces - stressing that their silence "is no longer acceptable and they must put an end to these abuses, especially since the Turkish occupation is preventing them even from burying their dead in the village cemetery."

The house of Ri Rast also came under fire from the Turkish occupation soldiers at night a few days ago, without any reason, his wife Suad Hassan confirmed that the Turkish occupation prevented the villagers from even the water and said, " Turkey is trying to avenge its losses in the legitimate defense areas, so it shoots the citizens."
