​​​​​​​Tal Tamr Council: Turkish occupation brings in heavy weapons

Recently the Turkish occupation state and the so-called mercenary groups of the National Army of their attacks on the North and East Syria and especially in Ain Issa, Zarghan and Tal Tamr that undergo daily shelling as UAVs of the Turkish occupation army hover the areas.

To shed light on the recent developments on the ground ANHA met Commander in the Tal Tamr Military Council Ferhad Jan who said that the escalation by the Turkish occupation army on Tal Tamr and other areas are on the rise since the commencement of April''.

Ferhad Jan added ''that there are intense and heavy attacks of the region more specifically on Assyrian villages and even sanctuaries and shrines are not spared with the aim to displace the people of the region and destabilise the region as well specifically those areas on the frontlines''.

Ferhad added in addition to daily attacks there is intense moves by the Turkish occupation state and the affiliated mercenary groups since the start of April on the frontlines as heavy arms and weapons are brought to the military bases and posts amid intense hovering by the UAVs while Border Guards and Tal Tamr Military Council abide by the ceasefire agreements and respond within the right to self-defense to fires sources. Ferhad refuted the allegations made by the Turkish occupation state that Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF,  saying'' we protect our people and lands and the Turkish allegations are groundless. We utterly reject these allegations and we abide by agreements''.  

Ferhad Jan touched upon the role played by the Russian forces regarding the ceasefire agreements '' we are astonished at Russian forces present in the region as there is a military escalation, even their military posts come under shelling. Days ago its base was targeted, and the Syrian government forces are targeted time and another, but these forces remain silent and never react to these breaches''. 

Ferhad Jan held the Russian forces responsible for the attacks on the region. Ferhad wondered at the reasons of the silence of such forces.

Russian forces accompanied with Syrian Border Guards were deployed to the region in the aftermath of the Turkish occupation onslaught on the region in 2019 after both Sere Kaniye and Gire Spi were occupied.

Ferhad said: '' what happens in the region indicates that there are agreements between the active powers in the region and the Turkish occupation state to target people of the region''.  

Ferhad noted that the aim of such agreements is to create a demographic change in the region of NES. This happens from behind the scenes of the Syrian crisis '' Russian forces did not perform their duties since there entered the region, but rather they give a blind eye even to bombs that fell closer to the military bases of theirs''. 

Ferhad Jan confirmed that their military formations in the region are to give protection and they are ready to give more sacrifices for the sake to break the line of attacks of the region, '' we are ready to subvert the will of the enemy and to deter it to occupy more lands, we will not allow them to advance neither an inch. As did Algeria we will fight to the end to attain victory''.
