​​​​​​​KCK: The killers commit crimes in Sulaymaniya and flee to Hawler

Foreign Relations Committee of Kurdistan Community Union(KCK) issued a statement, highlighting the issue of the political assassination in Başûr, and the efforts to turn Sulaymaniya into a headquarters for carrying out political assassinations.

KCK explained that KDP's complicity with Turkish occupation attacks in southern Kurdistan exposes the refugees to death, and said: "The whole world is silent about these attacks and just watching.

Until now, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Government of Southern Kurdistan have done nothing, and they are responsible for the political assassinations.

'Every person will have to defend themselves'

KCK touched on the position of political powers and the people in Kurdistan towards these operations, and said: "Their position about the assassination of patriotic figures, revolutionaries, must be clear. Otherwise, every person is forced to defend themselves.

The statement continued: "Through these crimes and political assassination, they want to intimidate the Kurdish people, the revolutionaries, and the patriots, and force them to retreat.

They seek, through these methods, phone calls, direct threats, and support for hired killers, to kill every Kurdish who opposes them, and this was made clear in the assassination of Muhammad Zaki Chalabi.

And with these methods they will not be able to break the will of Kurdish people, on the contrary, and through sacrifices Kurdish revolution will not be broken."

'Sulaymaniya administration must do their duties'

The statement continued: “With these attacks, they deliberately want to turn the city of Sulaymaniya into the center of political murders, and to blackmail the patriotic parties and institutions of Southern Kurdistan, to render them ineffective and to attract them to dirty cooperation. The dirty cooperation of KDP with Turkish state receives serious reactions from all Kurds, and KDP is left alone in this cooperation policy. Sulaymaniya, the center of Kurdish patriotism, is targeted because they want to stop it being a safe city for Kurds.

Sulaymaniya administration and those in charge of politics should be alert to this situation and take a clear stance against it. The public should be addressed and all the details must be explained, including the background of these murders. The Kurdish people and the families of our murdered people expect such an attitude.”

'Hawler has become a place for killers '

KCK indicated that Hawler has become a focus and headquarters for killers, and said: "The killers in Sulaymaniya and assassination gangs are fleeing towards Hawler."

Hawler has become a place for the killers. KDP is implementing a policy of hunting every Kurd who does not think like them. There is no sign that KDP will take a step back from its dirty cooperation with Turkish state."

'The killers will be held accountable'

KCK continued in its statement: "Our people, who are seeing this situation, and have to clarify their position towards Kurdistan Democratic Party.

We call on the international institutions dealing with the rights of refugees and political people, Red Cross, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and human rights organizations to take a stand against the defenders of Turkish intelligence MIT. use the legitimate defense against attacks by all means. The killers will definitely be held accountable."
