Revenge for Haqqi Qaraar to transform group into integrated organization against enemy and betrayal

 Leader Abdullah Ocalan says that Qaraar (he is my hidden soul), and the leader of the People's Defense Forces, the HPG, Yasar Sarhad, explained in a statement to the Firat News Agency: “The friendship of the leader Abdullah Ocalan with Qaraar is a decision and it was historical and sacred, after Ocalan was released from prison, you know  beginning with the comrades Qaraar and Kemal Pir, where the two comrades said about the leader Ocalan (he came on the first day and became the owner of the house on the second day), within the comradeship in the Kurdistan Workers' Party, the friendship of Kemal Pir and Haqi was a clear decision, which affected the firm and confident stance of the leader Ocalan. The leader Ocalan says about Comrade Kemal Pir (I spoke with Kemal Pir for half an hour, but he fought to the end), and says about Qaraar (he is my hidden soul).

 The PKK assessed Haqi Qarar as follows: “Comrade Haqi carried his bed on his back and left the university in the last year. From the moment he realized the reality of the Kurdistan revolution, he did not hesitate to go to our homeland, which he never knew, even for a moment… No.  Those who know him closely forget that he wore the most elegant clothes and lived for months on lunch only, which consisted of a simple breakfast and nothing else. He was the source of inspiration for those around him to overcome all obstacles.  They were racing to struggle with him."

 Who is Qaraar?

  Qaraar is of Turkish origin, born in 1950 in the Black Sea, in the Ordu-Olbay district.  He studied elementary, middle and high school in Olbay district.  Then he moved to Ankara University, where he was influenced by the revolutionary movement, and got acquainted with the leader Abdullah Ocalan and Kemal Pir.  He assumed the role of coordinator in revolutionary higher education in Ankara in 1973, and took his place in the activities he started with the Kurdish revolutionaries.  He is one of the first implementers of the decision to return to the homeland, which was taken at the historic meeting in 1976. He struggled within the ranks of the Kurdish people, especially among the toiling class in Batman first and Deluk later.

 On May 18, 1977, the leader, Haqi was assassinated by Alaeddin Kaban, who was a spy among the left in Turkey during the period of March 12.

 The martyrdom of the leader Haqi was a turning point in the history of the Kurds, the Kurdistan Region, the democrats, and the believers in coexistence.  The masses of the people are toiling towards freedom, achieving victory over the enemy, and liberating Kurdistan.”  A year later, the establishment of the PKK was announced in the village of (Fis) near the city of Amed on November 27, 1978.  And the revolutionary movement began in all of Kurdistan, and then the  armed struggle that continues to this day in the face of the Turkish aggression;  May became known to the Kurdistan Freedom Movement and to the general people of Kurdistan as the month of martyrs, which witnessed the martyrdom of many revolutionaries, such as Haqqi Qaraar, Muhammad Qara Sangur and Ibrahim Bilgin.

 The co-chair of the People’s Congress, Ramzi Kartal, said in a statement to our agency that  Qaraar martyrdom was a decision that contributed to the establishment of the PKK, and he said: “In that era there was no organization.  The group is conducting training, and with the martyrdom of Qaraar, the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, decided to establish the organization.

 Ramzi Kartal explained that the enemy realized the presence of the leader Abdullah's group and that it had activity, and to stop this activity, he was targeted. He said: "The leader realized that this attack targets the group, and said that the appropriate response is to build an organization, and take steps towards the freedom struggle."

 With the martyrdom of Qaraar, the line of treachery in Kurdistan appeared once again, represented by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which, since its founding and to the present day, has turned into a tool in the hands of the enemies of the Kurds and the Kurdish cause, starting from the Iranian Shah, all the way to Saddam Hussein and the successive Turkish regimes.  And the best example is his participation now alongside Turkey in the attacks against the legitimate defense zones in southern Kurdistan.

 The Kurdistan Democratic Party has strong relations with the intelligence of the occupied countries

 Ramzi Kartal pointed out that there has been a strong relationship between Turkish intelligence and the Kurdistan Democratic Party since ancient times: "The one who assassinated him was a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and he founded the so-called Red Star Organization, for the purpose of assassinating him by a decision of the Turkish Intelligence (MIT)."

 Kartal indicated that there are strong connections and relations between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the intelligence of the occupying countries of Kurdistan, the Iranian, Iraqi and Syrian intelligence as well, and the aim of these relations is to strike the struggle of the Kurdish people in those parts.  Oni and his revolutionary companions from East Kurdistan, at the request of the Iranian state, and their bodies were handed over to Iran.

 Ramzi Kartal noted that the KDP does not move as a political party, but in fact moves as a family party represented by the Barzanis family. Everything is in the hands of the family, and said: "The KDP is run according to family interests."

 The co-chair of the People’s Congress, Ramzi Kartal, confirmed that the Barzani family sacrificed everything in Kurdistan for the sake of its family interests, and it concludes agreements with all the occupying countries of Kurdistan.

 The betrayal line must be eliminated

 Ramzi Kartal pointed out that "the Barzani family has turned into a calamity that befalls the Kurdish people."

 Ramzi Kartal touched on the cooperation and support that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is now providing to the Turkish occupation state, and said: "Now the betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, its support and cooperation with the Turkish occupying state, has become apparent to the public and the Kurdish people. This betrayal that threatens the Kurdish people gains it has achieved must be denounced."

 Kartal stressed the need to liquidate the line of treason, and said: "If this line is not liquidated, the way will not open to solving the Kurdish issue and the freedom of the Kurdish people, so the struggle against this betrayal must be escalated. Standing against the line of betrayal is standing up to the enemy itself."
