Afrin Social Society call for termination of Turkish occupation

In a statement released today Afrin Social Society called for the termination of the Turkish occupation forces and the withdrawal of the Turkish occupation forces from Afrin Canon and other Syrian territories under Turkish and mercenary occupation.

The statement that was read in front of the main office in the city of Qamishlo by Dalia Hanna indicated under the security claims of its southern borders the Turkish occupation forces and the affiliated mercenary groups committed crimes in Afrin''.

The statement condemned the demographic change taking place in Afrin and other Syrian territories under occupation. The statement noted crimes and breaches committed in Afrin amount to war crimes. The statement added Afrin was a safe haven for thousands of Syrians from all territories.

On settling a million Syrian refugees in occupied areas Afrin Social Society said ''it is a dangerous project that has grave repercussions in the future''.

Afrin Social Society called on all human and legal organizations and civil society foundations to stop this project.
