Syriac Union Party: revolt against Turkish attacks

Syriac political Parties and unions organize tomorrow a protest that lasts two days against the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation state on the region.

Under 'No to Hostile Policies of the Turkish State Against Components of the Region', Syriac Union Party, Syriac Feminist Union and the Syriac Youths' Union organize a two day protest in the city of Qamishlo.

Co-chair of the Syriac Union Party Senacherib Barsoum told ANHA ''attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region continue for years as the international powers remain silent. Now the Turkish state seeks to pass its plots that target the region's components. ''

''The aim behind these attacks is to create a demographic change in the region. These policies run against peoples of the region. We confirm our rejecting position to these hostile policies'', Barsoum said.

''our aim is to stand up to attacks of the Turkish occupation and to develop relations with political parties and components of the region. As a component, we will make our voice be heard more in this protest''.
