PDK's policies towards Şengal are a copy of Turkey's during ISIS attack on Kobani

 The Iraqi government forces, backed by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, have been attacking the Şengal area since May 2, with the aim of destroying the Autonomous Administration and the forces built by the Yezidis in  Şengal for themselves after the massacres they were subjected to at the hands of ISIS, and the PDK's government abandoning them to face death and displacement at the hands of  mercenaries.

 In parallel with these attacks, officials and media outlets affiliated with the PDK began promoting the exodus from Şengal, in a policy that observers see as aiming to empty the area of ​​Yazidis, after ISIS failed to do so.

 Kurdish displacement scheme

 When ISIS attacked the  Şengal area in August 2014, deserting the vast majority of its people, killing its people and captivating its women, after the  (KDP) militants fled from  Şengal, leaving its people defenseless in the face of ISIS, and the Iraqi army had no presence, everyone thought that it was the end of the Yazidis.

 But when the guerrillas, the People's Protection Units, and the women defeated  Şebgal, the plan to eliminate its people failed.  Later, the Yazidis organized themselves and built an administration for themselves and formed military forces to protect them, based on the principle of the need to strengthen self-protection, without relying on other parties.

 This was a fatal blow to the Turkish project aimed at annihilating the Kurds and displacing the rest, with the support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which plays the role of a "Trojan horse" inside the Kurdistan lands.

 The current attacks are a continuation of what ISIS could not do, but in another way, which is to force the Yazidis to abandon a historically ancient region and testify to the Kurdish roots in the Middle East.

 The Democratic Party hardly spares any effort to achieve this plan, as its media outlets  promote exodus from  Şengal, with the aim of emptying it.

 The party’s media and a number of its officials have been talking since the first day about a “displacement movement” towards the camps where the KDP had previously prevented residents from returning to  Şengal in order to use them as a pressure card and rob them of their votes in the elections.

 In recent days, the KDP has returned to using the camp card to attract the remaining Yazidis, in an effort to complete the scheme to exterminate and displace the Kurds, under direct Turkish guidance.

 Steps that bring the Kobane scenario back to mind!

 The ISIS attack on Kobani in September 2014 was a milestone in the history of the Rojava revolution and the struggle of its people for survival. At that time, after ISIS mercenaries managed to occupy Kobani villages and large parts of their neighborhoods, Kobani found no one to support it in the genocidal attacks that it was subjected to except  Guerilla forces, the people of northern Kurdistan, and a number of internationalist fighters, who, days before, had come to the aid of the people of  Şengal.

 Turkey was waiting for the moment of the fall of Kobani, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan came out and said, "Kobani is falling." At the same time, the Turkish authorities were preparing the camps.

 But the historical resistance that broke the thorn of ISIS in Kobani, thwarted those plans.

 The Kurds are facing an existential threat

 A member of the Joint Presidency of the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Yusef, said in a previous statement to our agency, commenting on the attacks on Şengal, that Turkey's strategy is based on hitting Arabs and Kurds with each other. This is what is happening in Şengal now.  This is a very dangerous scheme.  The parties and politicians in Iraq must stand up to this dirty scheme and prevent this conspiracy from happening."

 She stressed the need to mobilize in support of  Şengal and embrace its resistance, and said, "Just as we performed the mission and saved  Şengal from extermination during the ISIS attack, we are facing the same responsibility now. Our call to the people of Rojava is to defend  Şengal in all forms. Today is the day of existence and non-existence. If  we did not defend our roots, values ​​and identity, humanity and history will not forgive us. With this responsibility and spirit, the call of the  Şengal Council and its people must be met. We will provide all forms of support to  Şengal."

 While the Vice Presidency of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, Badran  Çiya Kurd, said, hours after the start of the attacks, that "Şengal will not be alone, and we will support our people in  Şengal with the responsibilities that fall upon us, and we will not leave them alone in the face of extermination as before."
