​​​​​​​Council of Şengal Administration: We never to give up Şengal

 The Council of Democratic Autonomous Administration in  Şengal issued a statement regarding the special war policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in  Şengal, with the aim of intimidating the people and forcing them to leave their homes.

 The text of the statement stated:

 "As it is known, some disturbances occurred in  Şengal due to the movements of the Iraqi army. We had previously issued a statement on the matter and put our people and public opinion in the picture of the situation. There is nothing to add on the matter.

 The Democratic Party committed a major betrayal against the Yazidi community and  Şengal during the 2014 massacre, and instead of asking for forgiveness from the Yazidi community, for 8 continuous years it showed great hostility to the Yazidi community and  Şengal.  The Democratic Party never wanted the Yazidi community to become a free will.  The great hatred of the Democratic Party against the Yazidi community stems from the fact that the Yazidis did not accept to be turned into their servants and slaves.  Because the Democratic Party is the biggest enemy of freedom.

 The Democratic Party tried to return to  Şengal through the October 9 agreement, but the Yazidi community confronted this plan.  The Yazidi community announced dozens of times that it would not allow the Democratic Party to return to  Şengal.

 Now the Democratic Party seeks to move the Iraqi state against the Yazidi community.  Democratic Party officials daily ask the Iraqi army to attack  Şengal.  We emphasize here that the Democratic Party bears the primary responsibility for the recent attacks.

 The Democratic Party seeks to provoke confrontations between the Iraqi army and  Şengal protection forces, on the one hand, and on the other hand, it pursues special war policies.  Since the beginning of the last crisis until today, he has resorted to various immoral methods in order to push the Yazidi community to flee from Şengal.

 It is also known that after two days of attacks and battles in Şengal, the confrontations have stopped, and the situation is calm while the meetings and discussions continue.  However, the Democratic Party is spreading false rumors among the residents with the aim of intimidating them and inciting them to leave.  Many circles affiliated with the Democratic Party within the army spread rumors among the residents with the aim of intimidating them.

 We assure our people and the Yazidi community that these rumors are false.  The Democratic Party is trying to spread fear and terror among the people.  All our people, the clergy, the clans, and the notables should be careful and vigilant about these policies.  The Democratic Party is trying to intimidate our people and empty Şengal of its population.  We liberated Şengal with the blood of hundreds of martyrs, and we will never abandon it.”
