Amed Malazkurd: We will continue the resistance, and break the Turkish attack

Firat News Agency quoted the commander of People's Defense Center (HSM), Amed Malazkurd, who shared important information about the war fronts. Malazkurd said: "On the evening of 17 April, the enemy wanted to down soldiers across Zap and Avaşîn with Sikorsky and attack helicopters. These deployments were prevented as a result of the intervention of our comrades, and also tried to land the soldiers in three areas along the line south of Kurêjaro to Sheladize, and that for two days, fierce clashes took place between the guerrillas and the occupying forces.

Malazkurd also reported that Turkish occupation army tried to land the soldiers by helicopter in several areas of Çiyayê Reş and said: "Because of the comrades' intervention, it was unable to land the soldiers.

On 18 April, the enemy advanced from Serê Sêvê line to Çiyayê Reş hill and landed soldiers on Rubar Hill and Çiyayê Reş with the support of attack helicopters in the evening. Attempts to land more soldiers on Hell's Peak were foiled. The enemy then tried to land soldiers several times on Şikefta Birîndara and Karker Hill, but did not succeed due to the intervention of our guerrillas.”

Heavy clashes continue

Turkish army was able to land only three times in Şikefta Birîndara and Karker Tepe regions. They also tried to land soldiers on Chelo Pichuk, as well as on Şehîd Şahin Hill, but they were prevented by our comrades. So they then tried in Şamke and Şehîd Şahin Hill, where heavy clashes continue in that area."

Two-day balance sheet: 62 Turkish soldiers killed

Stating that there were heavy clashes around Avashen's Werxele Hill and Werxele village, Malazkurd said: "The enemy suffered 62 losses while 2 attack helicopters were hit, and the enemy had many wounded, in these clashes and air attacks, 7 of our comrades martyred."

The invasion attack will last long

On the conclusion of his speech Malazkurd underlined that the invasion attack of Turkish state would last long and that the guerrillas would resist. And said "our comrades with the Apoist spirit and PKK's sacrificing style, will bravely confront this operation."

This process will continue for a longer time, in order to achieve a free Kurdistan and liberate the land of Kurdistan, we will continue to resist whatever the sacrifices are, many of our heroic comrades were martyred, and we owe them revenge.
