Leader Ocalan lawyers submit a new request to Bursa Prosecution

Leader Ocalan lawyers submitted a request to Public Prosecution Office in Turkish city of Bursa and the administration of Imrali Prison, in order to meet with their client in Imrali Island Prison.

Leader Ocalan lawyers, Ibrahim Bilmez, Cengiz Yorkli, Newrouz Uysal and Mazloum Deng submitted to Public Prosecution Office in Turkish city of Bursa and the administration of Imrali prison, to meet with their client in Imrali Island prison.

In one week, lawyers submit 2 requests to meet with leader Ocalan, but Turkish authorities reject them by keeping them unanswered, as they impose strict isolation on leader Ocalan and prevent him from meeting lawyers and family.

The news has been cut off from leader Ocalan since March 25, 2021, when a phone call was made between him and his brother, Muhammad Ocalan, and it only lasted 5 minutes, then the call was cut off.

That call came after the allegations published by Turkish social media about leader's health, which provoked popular reactions from around the world, forcing them to allow contact with his brother, Muhammad Ocalan.

While the last meeting with him was held by his lawyers, Rezan Sarija and Newrouz Uysal, on August 7, 2019.
