HPG's Media Center : Guerrillas will take control of matters in any Turkish operation
HPG's Media Center spokesman said that the number of Turkish warplanes flying over the legitimate defense areas is greater than the number of planes over Ukraine.
In interview with Firat News Agency HPG's Media Center spokesperson Sardar Yektaş spoke about the possibility of the Turkish attack on the Guerrilla sites during the spring.
"The Turkish Ministry of Interior issued a new statement saying that carried out 8000 operations in northern Kurdistan during the past three months, however it was unable to make any progress in Zap, Avashin and Matina, and was forced to withdraw from some areas, but drones and warplanes continue operations constantly," Yektaş said.
About preparations of the guerrilla forces, Yektaş said: "The guerrilla is a force that trains itself every day, evaluates its practical experience and tests its weaknesses, it gained experiences during 2021 war, HPG's fighters are ready and in an effective state of war, they have taken a situation for themselves according to the enemy’s situation.”
On possibility of the KDP's participation in the war, Yektaş said, "We receive a lot of information from local sources, but we do not know how true it is. Perhaps it is fake information through which it seeks to provoke us into war. What is important is the situation on the ground.
He added: "We know how the KDP's situation was against the guerrilla fronts last year, so we do not want the same thing to happen this year, because our people prepared themselves for the victory of the freedom case, and these provocative attempts from outside and inside weaken our people's struggle, our people can no longer bear this situation.
