 Al-Otabi told Al-Maalouma news agency, "The logical explanation for the presence of Turkish forces in large parts of northern Iraq is that they are an occupying country," stressing that "the repeated bombing of villages is a violation of national sovereignty."

 He added, "Despite the danger of the Turkish incursion and its repercussions on the lives of thousands of families, we are surprised, regardless of some political forces, as if the matter did not pose a threat to Iraqi national security," noting that "what Turkey is doing is an occupation in broad daylight and all the pretexts it presents unacceptable arguments.”

 He pointed out that "the Turkish incursion contributed to the displacement of thousands of families in the past years and the destruction of large villages and towns," noting that "the failure to shed light on what is happening is also a big question mark."

 The Turkish occupation army has established nearly 40 military headquarters, in addition to violating the sovereignty of Iraqi lands, but the central government and the Kurdistan Region are still silent.
