People of Tel Hamis: Leader Ocalan's ideas guarantee peoples' freedom and dignity

 The fascist Turkish state has imposed a tight isolation on the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, for years.  Meanwhile, in many countries of the world, especially in north and east Syria, campaigns were launched to collect signatures to demand freedom for the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the removal of the name of the Kurdistan Workers Party from the "terror list".

 The people of the district, in which about fifty thousand signatures have been collected so far, expressed their views to our agency on this subject.

 Muhammad Al-Shammari referred to the emergence of many armed groups with the start of the Syrian crisis and the destruction and occupation.  Which led to the displacement of the people.  He also explained that thanks to the ideas of leader Abdullah, YPG units were formed and the path to this destruction was blocked.

 Muhammad Al-Shammari added, "The people supported this campaign in the spirit of resistance of leader Abdullah Ocalan inside Imrali prison. The people joined the idea of ​​a democratic nation, which includes the philosophy of brotherhood of peoples, equality and free opinion. Based on this foundation, we see the PKK as a popular party."

 He also mentioned that the ideas of leader Ocalan are in line with their demands, because they guarantee the freedom and dignity of peoples, and continued, "The ideas of leader Abdullah Ocalan are close to our normal life. It rejects authority and national fanaticism."

 In turn, Zahia Jalul, explained that the ideas of the leader Ocalan created an alliance and solidarity between the components of the region, exemplified by the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, adding: "Therefore, we do not look at the Kurdistan Workers' Party as a terrorist entity, but rather we demand removing it from the list of terrorism." 

 Zahia Jalul went on to say, "The leader is a heroic figure because he demands the rights of women. Today, women are defending their homeland, and thanks to the ideas of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, we have become the most powerful woman in the world. Our goal is to achieve the leader's physical freedom  Ocalan."

 For his part, Khalil Osman made it clear that he denounced the strict isolation imposed on leader Ocalan, adding: "We live based on the idea of ​​a democratic nation and the existence of a philosophy of brotherhood of peoples."

 Khalil Osman also referred to the Rojava revolution, saying: "Our revolution is victorious because it is based on the ideas of leader Ocalan about democracy."
