​​​​​​​ISIS mercenaries attacks Damascus forces in Rasafa desert

Clashes continue between ISIS mercenaries on one hand, and members of Damascus government forces on the other hand, near the village of Khirbet al-Maqman in Rasafa desert, south of Raqqa, which is the main supply line for Damascus government forces in the desert, as ISIS is trying to control the area to cut the supply lines, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

And yesterday, violent clashes erupted between ISIS mercenaries on one hand, and Damascus government forces represented by "18th Division and 25th Division" near the village of Khirbet al-Maqman in Rasafa desert in southern Raqqa countryside, on the other.

In a related context, Russian warplanes carried out at dawn today, about 10 air strikes targeting the movements and locations of ISIS mercenaries in Rasafa desert, bringing the number to about 25 of air strikes carried out by Russian warplanes during the last 24 hours on Raqqa desert.

Since the beginning of this March, SOHR has documented the killing of 24 members of Damascus government forces and the groups loyal to it, and the injury of 29 others, in separate attacks by ISIS mercenaries in the desert.
