​​​​​​​Aldar Khalil: The revolution is an extension of Ocalan and his comrades' resistance

Khalil's statements came during the Newroz celebration in the city of Hasaka.

He added, "The revolution is an extension of leader Abdullah Ocalan and his companions' resistance who began since 1973, and which lasted half a decade ago, the resistance started in the Turkish prisons such as Mazloum Dogan's, and later turned to armed struggle, and continue until the present day.

He assured that the peoples who turned around that resistance, organized themselves on those foundations, were affected by it, and made many gains in NE Syria.

Khalil added, "We must not forget that we are living in the third world war, and have to work in the spirit of Newroz, and according to what the stage requires, there are many of our occupied cities such as "Afrin, Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî, Jarablus, al-Bab, and others" by the Turkish occupation state. We must liberate these areas,

He noted that many parties still agree with the Turkish occupation state and share it in what the region is witnessing, and said, " We should abandon those ties, move away from hostility to NES people and work to protect these gains, not work to undermine these gains which achieved by thousands of martyrs.

We will not allow any personal or partisan interests to undermine our revolution.

Khalil stressed that the people of NE Syria will not allow any party to undermine their gains, by saying, "The July 19 revolution will not be achieved if it cuts off its ties with the rest of the Kurdish movements, even if it remains on a small scale only in Rojava.

The dialogue with the Damascus government without compromising basic objectives

Aldar Khalil called on the peoples of the region to support the Autonomous Administration institutions and said:

" We are ready for dialogue with everyone, especially Damascus government, but away from its present mentality, if it happens we will maintain the achieved gains, foremost of which is the Autonomous Administration."

Aldar Khalil concluded his speech by appealing to NES people to move according to reality of the revolutionary peoples.
