Newroz celebrations will be held this year in 13 centers; As the people celebrate, Monday (March 21), in (Qamishlo, Derik, and the village of Haleq in Girkê Legê, Tirbespiyê, Amuda, Ad-Darbasiyah, Tal Tamr, and Hasakah, in addition to and the outskirts of Mishta Nour hill in Kobani, Al-Shahba, Aleppo, and Damascus as well), while the people of Tabqa area celebrated yesterday, Sunday, in the Sports City west of Tabqa.

People from various components throughout north and east Syria have flocked from the morning hours to the squares to celebrate Newroz 2022, wearing their folkloric costumes, and holding pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In Qamishlo canton, celebrations are held in 4 centers, namely:

* In the city of Qamishlo, the celebration will be held in the square of the village of Himo, with the participation of the people of the city and its villages and towns.

* In Derik, the celebration will take place in the Burza Dam, which is 2 km from the city center, in which the people of the city of Derik and the villages of Gujarat and Barav participate.

Girkê Lege district for the celebration to take place in the village of Haleq, with the participation of the people of the districts of Girkê Lege, Çil Agha, Tel Koçer and its affiliated villages.

* Tirbespiyê district, the celebration is held on the banks of the Mezqift Dam in the north-east of the district.

* Amuda district the celebration will be held in the village of Jager Bazaar, south of the district, with the participation of the people of the district and its affiliated villages.

In Hasakah canton celebrations are held in 3 centers, namely:

* In the city of Hasakah, the celebration is held in the eastern dam.

* In the area of ​​Tal Tamr, the celebration is held in Qasrak.

* In Al-Darbasiyah, the celebration will be held in the village of Gul Bustan.

Euphrates region

* The celebration is held in the region on the outskirts of the Mashta Nour hill in the city of Kobani.

Raqqa

The celebration will be held in the courtyard of the College of Agriculture next to the al-Furusiya Roundabout in the western edge of the city of Raqqa, with the participation of the people of Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor and their countryside.

Afrin region

* The celebration will be held in Ahdath district in Shahba canton.

Aleppo

The celebration will be held in the Shaqif area of ​​Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood

A celebration of Newroz is also held in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The celebrations are scheduled to start around 11:00, by lighting the Newroz 2022 flame.
