​​​​​​​Bayik: The Kurds only rely on the resistance

The co-chair of Executive Council of Kurdistan Community System, Jamil Bayik, said in an interview with Furat News Agency that Nowruz expresses a historical resistance, and said: "Nowruz means resistance against the enemy, and rising up against slavery."

Bayik also indicated that the strongest response to the fascism of Justice and Development Party and Nationalist Movement Party will be in the squares celebrating Nowruz and added: "We are confident that Kurdish people will go out to the squares in Nowruz as well, celebrate it with great passion and resistance, and show their love and loyalty to Leader Apo once again."

'The Kurds only rely on resistance'

Jamil Bayik stated that Kurdish people have always defended their existence by resisting the occupation. Kurdish people have a historical legacy of this kind. And he said: "Whenever the Kurds distanced themselves from the resistance, their existence also became under danger and threat, and they constantly faced campaigns of extermination. The resistance is a condition for eliminating this danger, and that is why the Kurdish people have always resisted. The Kurds only rely on resistance."

For this historical and social characteristic that in Nowruz was celebrated in Kurdish society, it expresses its truth and feelings. The relationship between Kurdish community and Nowruz is present and continues until now. As has been done historically, Kurdish people continue to protect their existence and gain their freedom by resistance until now, this is called Nowruz. Kurdistan was re-divided and occupied during the 20 century.The uprisings against it were suppressed and they imposed social and national disintegration on Kurdish people. They had put Kurdish people in the stage of denial and extermination. Existentialism was defended against the occupation regime that imposed oppression, denial, and decay by resistance. 

'Resistance is present in nature and essence of Nowruz'

The leader Abo waged a similar struggle against the occupiers and brought the Kurdish people back to Nowruz.

The Kurdish people united with Nowruz, and rediscovered its truth, We can say clearly that Nowruz and the Kurdish people complement each other.

'After guerrilla struggle, Nowruz turned into an uprising'

Mazlum Dogan's great historical operation also took place in this way. He kindled the flame of Nowruz in those dark and difficult circumstances in which the enemy tried to suppress and control everything, and wrote a new history. This history that guarantees his existence and his freedom .

Therefore, the Kurdish people described Dogan as 'modern Kawa', and revived the Nowruz tradition again.

'Kurds should flock to squares in Nowruz'

This situation is being experienced today as well. Nowruz expresses the same meaning for the Kurds, which is strongest response shown by the Kurds against fascism of the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party

We are confident that the Kurdish people will fill the arenas of celebration this year as well, and celebrate Nowruz with great passion and resistance, and shows its love and loyalty to the leader again.

This will deal a severe blow to the fascism of the AKP and the MHP.”
