Ismail: It's time to remove name of PKK from

 The talk of the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the Euphrates region, Berivan Ismail, to our agency came at a time when the peoples of the region were seeking to remove the name of the Kurdistan Workers' Party from the "terror list".

 The ban on the party began by Germany in 1993, and many countries followed in a similar step, most notably Israel, America, and England, and then put it on the list of "terrorism" in several countries.

 Berivan Ismail told our agency, "Putting the PKK on the "terror list" is a catastrophic mistake on the part of the international community. The army of the Turkish occupation state bombs the mountains of Kurdistan with chemical weapons, and the international community does not move a finger. Here, we note that terrorism and its roots are in Turkey and its sponsor.  The international community turns a blind eye to the massacres of the Turkish occupation state against the peoples of the region."

She added: "The PKK has not attacked any country, and what it does is only defending the Kurds who are being massacred by the Turkish occupation army, and the party's main goal is to defend the values ​​of the people of the region."

 Berivan Ismail pointed out, "What distinguishes the PKK is its democratic project that seeks to implement it in the Middle East, which lives under the grip of tyrants.  Contrary to the goals of the countries that control the fate of the region, and when these countries realized the danger of the party, they put it on the "terror list".

 "How can a party that defeated ISIS mercenaries be a terrorist?"

 After years of putting its name on the "terror list", the peoples of the region are seeking to remove the name of the PKK from the "terror list".

 The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the Euphrates region, Berivan Ismail, appealed to the people of the region to join the campaign and said: "It is time to remove the name of the Kurdistan Workers' Party from the "terror list", as the people of the region are fully aware of its democratic project, which aspires to break the restrictions, because it  the only solution to the outstanding crises in the Middle East, all wars will stop, and the project will not reach its goals unless the peoples of the region unite around the party.

 She continued: "The leader Ocalan bequeathed his ideology and philosophy to the party members, who in turn began to spread this free thought throughout and the party became a popular base in all countries."

 At the end of her speech, Berivan Ismail asked, how can someone who fought ISIS mercenaries in Shingal and saved thousands there from the danger of extermination be a terrorist? How can someone who defeated ISIS mercenaries in Syria and gave peace to the world be a terrorist?
