Mr. Abdel-Fattah: The key to solution to outstanding problems in region is in Imrali

 February 15 marks the twenty-third anniversary of the international conspiracy that targeted the leader Abdullah Ocalan in 1999, in which a number of international intelligence services participated along with the Turkish Intelligence (MIT), which led to the kidnapping of leader Ocalan from the airport in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.  .

 And the Kurdish people declared February 15 (a black day), and every year anti-conspiracy activities are organized by the Kurdish people all over the world and in Kurdistan.

 The conspiracy targeted the person of the leader Abdullah Ocalan to strike the freedom movement, and the conspiracy began on the 9th of October 1998, when the leader Ocalan was forced to leave Syria, and since that day to this day the conspirators continue to target all the gains of the Kurdish people in Kurdistan and want to destroy the free will  For the peoples of the region, and the democratic nation project put forward by leader Abdullah Ocalan, which embraces all components.

 On the anniversary of the plot that targeted the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the head of the Cairo Center for Kurdish Studies, Mr. Abdel Fattah, spoke to our agency ANHA.

 At the beginning of his speech, he referred to the events and developments that followed the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan over the years of the kidnapping, and the background of preparing the ground for dividing the region and opening the doors of foreign interference wide, saying: “The leader Abdullah Ocalan was kidnapped by a despicable international conspiracy in which the International intelligence services took part because he was defending a just cause for a people who had been wronged a lot and demanding legitimate rights for the Kurdish people, and that the ruling authority in Turkey and with it other international and regional powers saw in the person of leader Abdullah Ocalan a threat to their plans for the region, and they got rid of him by kidnapping.

 He added, "If we look at this conspiracy from a broader and more comprehensive perspective, we will see that the conspiracy is not only against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the region, but against the region and its peoples, and that this conspiracy aimed among its goals to divide the region or keep it under the control of the colonial powers."

 In his speech, Abdel Fattah noted that the international forces believed that the kidnapping of Abdullah Ocalan would end and destroy Abdullah Ocalan’s struggle and project and his ideas, but what was proven in the years of his kidnapping was that the ideas of leader Ocalan were able to bypass the walls of Imrali prison and spread in the region and because they came out as an expression of the aspirations and rights of these peoples.

 Abdel-Fattah believes that the conspiracy was to prepare the ground for dividing the region and opening the doors of foreign interference wide open, proven in the international and regional interference in region.

 On the question, whether the influential countries in the Middle East, through their conspiracy to kidnap Ocalan, were able to ignore the role and project of the leader Ocalan in the region, or did they deepen the lived crisis?  Mr. Abdel-Fattah replied, “Of course, this cannot be said, but rather that it has deepened the lived crisis, and as we said earlier that Abdullah Ocalan’s ideas are humanitarian in the first place, and are not against the peoples of the region and the world or the rights of these peoples, but rather they consolidate the right of peoples to enjoy their legitimate rights.

 Abdel-Fattah explained that ignoring the role and project of the leader Ocalan in the region by those powers led to the deepening of the crisis in the region, and the efforts of the major countries and dictatorships to deal with the peoples of the region in the same way, and the ideas and plans of the occupation of peoples’ rights deepened the crisis in the region.

 Regarding the model that the leader Abdullah Ocalan added to the solution to the common struggle of the peoples, Mr. Abdul-Fattah said, "Because these ideas and the model presented by Abdullah Ocalan for the solution are fully expressing the peoples aspirations and ideas, and that the project was able to meet  the acceptance, conviction, and belief of the intellectuals and the general public in the region because they are ideas.

 In his speech, Abdel-Fattah pointed out that what distinguishes the project of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, which he added in his struggle, is to put his hand directly on the solution in the region, and that this project succeeded in the region when it was implemented on the ground in northern and eastern Syria, and we found a turnout for the peoples of the region of various nationalities.  And religions on coexistence according to the theory put forward by Abdullah Ocalan, which is applied in northern and eastern Syria.

 On the importance of the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan in influencing the problems of the region and the global crisis in general, the head of the Cairo Center for Kurdish Studies, Mr. Abdul Fattah, stated, "The international and dictatorial powers are well aware that the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the ideas he presented are worthy and capable of giving solutions to the peoples of the region and not  Not only the region but the whole world because they are humanitarian ideas, but these powers do not want a solution or for the peoples of the region to obtain their legitimate right, but rather they always desire and strive for there to be continuous and chronic problems that the peoples of the region suffer from so that they maintain their control over the world and the region.

 And on the question about the release of Commander Abdullah Ocalan, what should be done from now on?  Mr. Abdul-Fattah replied, “With regard to the release of the leader Ocalan, I think that the necessary thing to do from now on is to continue the cultural, elite, political, partisan and parliamentary activities by the real militants, and for the ruling regimes in the countries of the region to allow more freedom and movement for these activities, as well as continuing media campaigns.  and intellectual, and to put pressure on the ruling regimes in the region through the events and civil society organizations to move towards the release of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

 Abdel-Fattah explained that the kidnapping of the leader Ocalan without guilt constitutes a full-fledged crime that is still going on until now.  But the leader Abdullah Ocalan proved, with his ideas and constant calls, that he has the solution to the problems of the world and the region. He also proved that with his ideas of peaceful coexistence between different peoples, and therefore there is no longer any justification for the argument that unfortunately the Turkish regime succeeded in promoting and deceiving the world with that Leader Ocalan is a terrorist.

 Abdul-Fattah added that we refuse to label Abdullah Ocalan and his fellow fighters as a terrorist. Without the leader Ocalan and his companions, the dangerous terrorist organization ISIS, which represented a danger to the region and the world at large, would not have been eliminated, and no one could stand in the face of this organization and defeat it except Abdullah Ocalan.  and his companions.

 The head of the Cairo Center for Kurdish Studies, Mr. Abdel-Fattah, concluded his speech, saying that the release of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, has become an international humanitarian demand. On this basis, we must unite and continue the struggle to achieve it.  Ocalan’s ideas are applied on the ground in north and east Syria, and his ideas call for peaceful coexistence between the components of the region, and the system of self-management applied in north and east Syria must be emulated in the region and the world, and everyone who wants to see the truth should go to visit the Autonomous Administration areas to see how the ideas are implemented  humanity for Abdullah Ocalan.
