Mohamed Fethi Sherif: Ocalan is a historical leader

Leader Ocalan has made an unprecedented impression in the Middle East where a large elite of intellectuals and politicians are embracing his ideas and thoughts that made many Arab politicians and intellectuals launch campaigns to release him from prison.

Head of the Arab Center for Research and Studies Mohamed Fethi Sherif said leader Ocalan is a historical leader for the Kurdistan Workers' Party and he has fought intrepidly against successive Turkish administrations adding the leader proved ideas are everlasting and that exclusion or imprisonment cannot defeat ideas. ''In my opinion he is a struggler, and I think his approach makes him a leader proper''. 

He said '' Ocalan developed a communal policy via his struggling thought and his stances saying he is a man of peace seeks stability''.

Mohamed Fethi adumbrate at the international plot against leader Ocalan on 15 February 1999 '' plots against free thinking people and researchers are everywhere. What had happened to Ocalan proves that the international community seeks the interests of those controlling it. Though Ocalan was arrested he used to reveal the plots of those inside and outside the country. The latest developments in the region are results of an international conspiracy with beneficiaries and traitors''.   

Mohamed Fethi Sherif said ''Abdullah Ocalan is a man of peace and he has always sought peace and stability via his thoughts and ideas, the traces he left are everlasting and tough he was arrested in 1999 his ideas and thoughts are spreading day after another''.

Mohamed Fethi Sherif said the plot that was hatched against the leader fell to the ground'' the conspiring countries did not met their goals,  and if they achieved their aspirations they are temporary ones, this is proven by history, traitors are going to be revealed by their peoples, their plots are going to be untied wisely, leader Ocalan is a source of fear for traitors and for this his ideas are going to go on''.

On the democratic nation idea Sherif said ''it is now applied on a small patch of land, but it is spreading. For the Middle East it has not materialized proper yet, and it cannot be applied now on the ground except for a new reality on the ground when people become the decision makers''. 

On the arrest of leader Ocalan Sherif said it was illegal '' in spite of the lapse of 23 years of the arrest of Leader Ocalan with no legal ground by the Turkish authorities and intransigence of the Turkish president Receb Tayyib Erdogan and the reject of all Arab, regional and international demands and calls calling for his release and ignoring demonstrations organized by Kurds in Europe but the coming days may preach a breakthrough especially at a time the popularity of Erdogan erodes Ocalan may be freed because the Turkish administration did not arrest Ocalan alone but it imprisoned his people at large in the body of Ocalan''.
