​​​​​​​ Sheikh Hamed Al-Faraj: Continuing isolation on leader is a crime against humanity

 On February 15, 1999, an international conspiracy was hatched, after which the leader Ocalan was kidnapped from Kenya, and handed over to Turkey, which imposed severe isolation on him on the island of Imrali;  With the aim of thwarting his project, which opposes the policies of capitalist countries, the project that became the only salvation for the people of north and east Syria from the clutches of terrorism.

 In this regard, the Sheikh of the Al-Walda clan in Tabqa, Hamid Al-Faraj, spoke to our agency and expressed his dissatisfaction with the violations by the Turkish occupation state against the leader Ocalan and the silence of human rights organizations and international courts regarding them.

 Al-Faraj explained that "all international courts and human rights organizations are involved in the case of the leader's imprisonment, and the first party to bear this responsibility is the International Court of Justice in The Hague."

 Pointing out that "the international conspiracy that targeted the leader, was nothing but a scenario portrayed by the greedy countries, especially Turkey, as the liberating hero of terrorism, and this came by falsifying the facts by including the name of the Kurdistan Workers Party in the list of terrorism, and the arrest of the thinker and philosopher Abdullah Ocalan, who advocated democratic thought.

 Al-Faraj pointed out that the distortion of facts by the capitalist countries and the Turkish state by fighting the founder of free democratic thought and physically arresting him did not work;  Because the popular initiatives demanding the achievement of the physical freedom of the leader did not stop, on the contrary, increased and spread on a large scale, and this, if anything, indicates that the facts cannot be hidden from the eyes of peoples who are looking for building a democratic society in which justice and equality prevail.

 The Sheikh of the Walda clan in Tabqa, Hamid Al-Faraj, stated in the context of his speech that the Turkish occupation state, until this moment, has not allowed the leader Abdullah Ocalan to meet with his family and his lawyer in recent years, and this indicates the public violation committed by the Turkish occupation state against the leader Abdullah Ocalan in his imprisonment.  On Imrali Island, which contravenes the law of life sentence as approved by the International Court of Justice.

 The sheikh of the Al-Walda clan, Hamid Al-Faraj, called on the "international community and humanitarian organizations to condemn the violation committed by the Turkish occupation state against the thinker Abdullah Ocalan, and to form an international court to reverse this unjust ruling and consider it in order to urgently achieve the physical freedom of the leader."

 At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Faraj pledged to the martyrs of freedom and dignity to follow in their footsteps until the physical freedom of the leader is achieved, and the project of the democratic nation and the brotherhood of peoples is preserved.
