4th Conference of TEV DEM kicks off in Rmelan city 

The 4^th conference of the Democratic Society Movement is attended by about 400 members, in addition to representatives of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the councils of martyrs' families in the Jazira region, political parties, the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Arab-Kurdish Tribal Council, women's and youth organizations, and civil society organizations.

The conference program includes several speeches, including the speech of the co-chairmanship of the Democratic Society Movement, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Council of Martyrs' Families in the Jazira region, the Kongra Star - Rojava, and a speech on behalf of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

It is scheduled to read the assessments of the leader Abdullah Ocalan on the democratic society, in addition to the organizational report of the movement during the past 3 years, discussing and voting on the movement’s internal system, and then electing the co-chairmanship of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), electing the movement’s general council, and issuing final statement of the conference.

The third conference of the Democratic Society Movement was held under the slogan "With a free organized society we guarantee victory", on August 27, 2018, in the town of Rmelan in Qamishlo canton, and the third conference concluded with the election of a 64-member council.
