Khlaed El Ezzi: Jordan Conference establishes pivotal Kurdo-Arab relations

Lately a conference was held in Jordan capital Amman under '' Arabs and Kurds.. Dialogue is the Way to Mutual Future'' with the aim of consolidating Kurdo-Arab relations attended by tens of figures from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Southern Kurdistan, Iraq and Europe.

On the use, Khaled El Ezzi a participant in the conference made a statement to ANHA saying the conference lays the ground for a future relationship between Arabs and Kurds based on the past to open new horizons and set off relations between components in the region and eventually reaching a type of solution based on understanding and freedom under repressive regimes that oppressed its peoples under nationalist slogans just to remain in power.

El Ezzi said his participation in the conference focused on the role of the Kurdish media regarding the Kurdo-Arab relations at the time of globalization and nationalism.

On the necessity of establishing a pivotal role that opens new horizons for future relationships El Ezzi said: elites and intellectuals to play an effective role and openness to the world to set new dialogue, and to create a chance to get rid of fossils of the past and its contexts and to consolidate historical, social and economic relations that all Middle East components need.

El Ezzi indicated all ''man made frontiers are serving great powers at the expense of others'', adding that small countries geopolitical interests are not taken into account, for the countries that draw such lines and maps serve themselves only.

El Ezzi said male and female social and cultural components ought to be engaged in the future not to reflect upon the past for the future establishes new relations based on respect and economic benefits and recognizes the other, participate in the building of the state regardless of nationalism or sectarianism.

El Ezzi laid stress on the point that citizenship establishes a true affiliation for any component in any state and it has duties as well.   

El Ezzi concluded by saying these conference and symposiums and discussions give way to new concepts to build up strategic relations of much significance that erode out-date ones that may arouse sensitivity for some components.
