Field commander: We inflicted heavy losses on enemy in their attack on Ain Issa

The field commander of Syrian Democratic Forces in Ain Issa district, Alan Shukri, confirmed that their fighters thwarted the ground attack of the Turkish occupation mercenaries on Ain Issa district, and inflicted heavy losses on them.

The mercenaries backed by artillery shelling from Turkish bases, tried to infiltrate villages of Jabal and Al-Msherfa, east of Ain Issa, at exactly four o'clock in the morning, Saturday, to occupy M4 international road. Meanwhile, SDF fighters managed to thwart the attack, and inflicted heavy losses on the mercenaries in lives and equipment.

In this regard, the field commander, Alan Shukri, said that the mercenaries launched a ground attack on the outskirts of Ain Issa district, at exactly four o'clock in the morning.

He explained that the infiltration attempt was accompanied by heavy artillery shelling from Turkish bases in the area. He stressed that their fighters had repelled the attack and put the mercenaries back after incurring heavy losses in lives and equipment.
At the conclusion of his speech, the field commander in Ain Issa district, Alan Shukri, pledged to defend the Girê Spî and Ain Issa cantons and prevent the Turkish occupier from occupying any inch of Syrian territory.
