Raqqa people: ''settlements'' degrading to all Syrians

In an interview carried out by ANHA with a number of the people in the city of Raqqa as they went on a demonstration expressing their mere rejection to the so-called ''Settlements'' or ''Reconciliations'' for the people of Raqqa dubbing it as degrading and they are plots hatched by the Syria government that ought to adopt an overall solution to the Syrian crisis instead of individual reconciliations.

 Sheikh Khider Taha Merendi said : '' today we revive our revolution against the Syrian regime and Bashar Assad and his barbaric acts against his people of shelling, murder and dropping barrel bombs. How could we do settlements with him after such deportation of millions of people and killing thousands ''.

The sheikh added '' we are not going to be cheap tools for Bashar Assad that did not have mercy upon minor or junior. His jails are overcrowded by people why these settlements cover these innocent people. Our revolution that was for freedom is continuous and we dod not accept these settlements''. 

In his turn, civil activist Nasr Salal expressed his rejection to the such settlements, '' we are against these settlements adopted by the regime and advocated by his thugs present in the region''.

''the regime ought to hold these settlements with its security branches that killed thousands of people of Syria. These settlements do not concern the people of Raqqa at all''.
