Al-Qaftan: “Settlements” deepen the crisis, and Damascus must go into dialogue with North and East Syria

 The Damascus government is still continuing with the so-called “reconciliations ” that it worked on in many areas in Syria, and in the recent period it began to play the same chord in the north, east and Syria, but it met with popular rejection from all the people of the region.

 Many statements were circulated by the people of the region, the latest of which was a statement by the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Raqqa and Tabqa clans, in which they rejected the "recociliations" that the Damascus government is promoting in the current period.

 In this regard, the head of the Future Syria Party, Ibrahim Al-Qaftan, confirmed to our agency that the results of the "settlements" or "reconciliations" are negative and will not solve the Syrian crisis, but will complicate it more than it is, "and the results of the settlements are the planting of terrorist cells in the region."

 “Settlements” to prove that Damascus is still acceptable

 Ibrahim Al-Qaftan explained, "Regarding the settlements that the regime is making in Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, and the rest of the other areas, such as Daraa and others, they are not a gateway to a solution, but rather a relief for pain, and it wants to prove to the international community that it is still acceptable to all parties, although this will turn the region into  A new explosion in the next stages."

 Al-Qaftan continued, "We advise the Syrian regime that this path will not be successful in resolving the Syrian crisis. The Syrian crisis must be resolved from its roots, not by adopting some reconciliations with some personalities or accepting some parties."

 Whoever wants to solve the crisis should have dialogue

 Al-Qaftan added, "The regime is unsuccessful in this matter, if it wants to take this path. We see that it has gone bankrupt in the past stages and does not have a project to solve the Syrian crisis, but rather wants the return of the central and authoritarian regime."

 Al-Qaftan wondered, "Why are these reconciliations on a narrow level with some personalities while we are in the administrations of north and east Syria, the Syrian Democratic Council, the Future Syria Party, or all parties in this region? We always tell the regime that we are ready for dialogue, so let him come and sit at the dialogue table."

 He explained, "If he wants to solve the Syrian crisis, he should sit with the parties that can solve the Syrian crisis, namely the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Future Syria Party, the Syrian Democratic Council, or the people of North and East Syria."

 Al-Qaftan stated, "We in the Future Syria Party accept all the sons of Syria."

 Al-Qaftan continued, "What we really see after 10 years of bombing, destruction, economic collapse and the destruction of the country and infrastructure. Can we reconcile with the regime without anything? Will there be a dialogue without any conditions? This matter will have no results."

 Al-Qaftan stressed, "We in the Future Syria Party believe in pluralism of thought provided that there is no sabotage. We do not want there to be reconciliations with the Syrian regime, or for there to be an extension of sabotage and the entry of some cells that want to destroy the region."

 He explained, "We believe in ideas, and in any adoption of any Syrian person, but we do not believe in the issue of sabotage, and we know that any reconciliation will result from cells in the region. Therefore, we say that reconciliations are unsuccessful and their results are negative and not positive."
