Demonstration against "reconciliations" with Damascus government in Al Tabqa

Today, hundreds of Al-Tabqa residents demonstrated to denounce so-called "reconciliations and settlements" which launched by Damascus government for the people of Raqqa, stressing that this policy is one of the deception chapters against the Syrian people.

The demonstration took place due to Damascus government calls to conduct "reconciliations and settlements" for the people in cities of Raqqa and Tabqa.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at the church roundabout in the city center, carrying banners reject these "reconciliations", which read : "We do not reconcile until the martyrs are reconciled" and "reconciliation is humiliation and betrayal."

The protesters stressed that "reconciliations" come under the clause of slavery that the regime has pursued for forty years, and those who take advantage of living conditions that afflict NE Syria from siege to implement their plans and agendas are nothing but traitors who want to spread strife in Al- Raqqa and Tabqa.

The demonstrators pointed out that the "reconciliations" had failed and the biggest proof is Daraa city, which is still suffering from the injustice, slavery and arrests, and added, "How the regime resorts to settlements as it is the biggest cause of Syria's ruin and collapse of its economy, moreover the poor living situation in its areas does not call for reconciliation, but boycott."

At the end of the demonstration, the protesters chanted slogans rejecting all policies of Damascus government and denouncing "reconciliations", which doesn't meet aspirations of the Syrian people.

It is worth noting that this demonstration was called through the communication sites and widely received by the people of the city.
