The source stated that Peshmerga forces in Pirde (Altun Kupri) town, Kirkuk province came under attack with eight Katyusha rockets, late Friday.

"The security forces have launched an investigation into the incident" the souce added.
Kurdistan Region’s counter-terrorism units also quoted as saying “eight Katyusha rockets landed near Kirkuk's bridge without causing material damage or casualties.”
