Hanna warns of international silence on Turkish occupation's crimes

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries from the so-called "Syrian National Army" continue to violate the cease-fire agreements and commit crimes against the people of north and east Syria, starting from the "Al-Shahba" areas, passing through Manbij and Ain Issa, all the way to Tal Tamr and Zarkan district, through  Its attacks, its daily indiscriminate ground artillery shelling, and its marches.

 The spokesman confirmed to our agency, from inside the center of Tal Tamr district, the continued violation of the ceasefire agreements by the Turkish occupation state.  against the region.

 The frequency of attacks and shelling by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries escalated, with the beginning of December of last year, in which the targeting and shelling focused on the "Zarkan and Tal Tamr" districts of Hasakah canton, and led to 7 martyrs and the injury of 19 people, including children, along with  causing significant material damage to people's property, service facilities, and places of worship.

 The targeting of the Turkish occupation state through its drones also led to the death of 6 citizens in the center of Kobani canton.

 The spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces, Aram Hanna, considered the military escalation and targeting of citizens and places of worship in northern and eastern Syria as war crimes against humanity, at a time when the world was witnesses the Astana 17 talks, which he described as the “unpatriotic Astana” meeting.  The outcome of the silence of the active forces in Syria, which did not move a finger in the face of these attacks, is catastrophic."

 Hanna warned that the recent escalation portends a new “terrorist danger” lurking in northern and eastern Syria, after the houses of worship, “Al-Dardara Mosque, Zarkan Square Mosque, and Al-Asadiya Mosque” were subjected to the bombing of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, as well as the villages of “Tal Tawil and Tal Juma’a.”  ".

 He pointed out that the international silence and its disregard for the crimes of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, resulted in negative results, as it caused the targeting of houses of worship and the holy places of the people of north and east Syria, and said: "If this silence continues, we will witness more and deeper negative effects on the region and the world, which are manifested  Turkey's support for terrorists and the creation of a suitable environment for it to increase its terrorist activity."

 SDF spokesman, Aram Hanna, stressed that there is no difference between the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, and ISIS mercenaries, for the crimes against humanity they are committing, which are clarified through the message they want to send, by targeting places of worship and churches.

 Aram Hanna held the international community responsible for the dangers and crimes against humanity that the attacks are exposed to in northern and eastern Syria, led by the active states and the parties in the region, and said: "The continuous Turkish crimes and violations are taking place before their eyes."

 He also demanded to look into the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation state against the residents of northern and eastern Syria, directing his question to the international community, "What is the message that the occupying state is trying to send by targeting places of worship and churches in the region?"
