​​​​​​​PYD in Euphrates region ends its annual meeting with set of future plans

 The annual meeting of the Democratic Union Party was held in the Euphrates region today in the presence of party members and administrators, as well as the co-chair of the PYD, Anwar Muslim.

 The meeting began with a minute of silence in remembrance of the martyrs' souls, after which the political situation in the region was assessed by the joint deputy chairperson of the Kobani District Council, Farhan Kobani.

 Farhan Kobani pointed out that "for decades, the countries that control the geography of the region in the Middle East have not wanted security and stability in it.  They will increase the conflicts in it."

 He added, "It is time for freedom, and if we can break the isolation from the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, we will be able to liberate ourselves."

 Farhan Kobani concluded his political assessment by saying: "Our goal was to unite the Kurdish ranks this year, but the other party we were negotiating with was always implementing what Turkish officials asked of it, and for this we did not reach a solution."

 After assessing the political situation, the party’s annual report was read by a member of the party’s executive body in the Euphrates region, Ahmed Sheikho, in which he presented the situation of the people in the Euphrates region who were affected by the political and economic situation.  The people in the area, especially the private and fierce war it launched, greatly affected the general situation of the people.

 As for the organizational situation, it revolved around holding the meetings held by the party this year, which aimed to form party cells throughout the Euphrates region, and most of the meetings focused on reading the party’s directives.

 The future program and work plan of the party in the Euphrates region

 Before the end of the annual meeting, the future program and work plan for the next year of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region was presented, which focused on: “working for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, continuing to form party cells, preparing for the party’s ninth general conference, and seeking to find economic projects that would cover  Party expenses, as well as intensifying visits and discussions among the people, in addition to standing up for training and trying to open a special academy for the party, and working to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress.

 At the conclusion of the annual meeting, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Anwar Muslim delivered a speech in which he called on party members to work harder to overcome the difficulties they faced this year.

 He also appealed to the peoples of the region to rally around the Autonomous Administration represented by the democratic nation project to make this project a success, because it faces many risks, especially from the agenda of countries that do not want peace for the people of the region and are trying to sow discord among its components, so the only solution is the success of the democratic nation project through solidarity  her sons.
