Ocalan lawyers apply again for access

Today, the lawyers of leader, Abdullah Ocalan, visited the Public Prosecution of Bursa and the administration of Imrali Prison for a meeting with meet their client.

The lawyers (Fayiq Ozgur Arol, Radia Ozturk, Rizan Sareja, and jengez Yorkli), visited the Public Prosecution of Bursa and the administration of Imrali prison, for a meeting with their client, leader Abdullah Ocalan, in his prison.

On November 29, 2021, Turkish occupation authorities imposed new sanctions against the leader, banning him from meeting with lawyers for 6 months, starting from last October 12, and preventing him from meeting his family for 3 months, starting from last August 18.

The occupation authorities impose strict isolation on leader Ocalan, that his last meeting with his lawyer Rizan Saraja and Nowroz Uysal took place on August 7, 2019, while his last contact with the outside world was on March 25 last year, during a phone call with his brother, Muhammad Ocalan, it lasted 5 minutes, then the connection was cut off. Leader Abdullah Ocalan has been detained in high-security Imrali prison, since 1999.
