Priest Yaacoub: We denounce any occupation aggression against any other component

 The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries escalated their attacks on northern and eastern Syria, through violent ground artillery shelling, in some areas such as Zarkan and Tal Tamr, and targeting others with drones such as the city of Kobani, which led to the death of 9 citizens in each of "Kobani, Tal Tamr, and Zarkan" recently,  dozens of civilians were injured.

 The bombing of the Turkish occupation army, along with the villages and neighborhoods inhabited by civilians, in center of Kobani canton, and the Assyrian villages in Tal Shanan, Tal Tawil, Tal Juma'a, Tal Kafji, and Zarkan villages", places of worship west of Tal Tamr district "including churches and mosques,  and religious shrines.

 Commenting on this, the priest of the Church of Mar Asia al-Hakim in al-Darbasiyah district, Michael Yaqoub, in a meeting with our agency, rejected the attacks and killings of the regions of northern and eastern Syria and its components at the hands of the Turkish occupation, saying: “According to our Christian religion, we are advocates of love and peace, and anything is incompatible with our believes is considered unacceptable.”

 The priest also denounced the attempts to occupy the area, saying, "For us, as the Bible says, love builds, but it is hatred that destroys, and we condemn any occupying position and transgression against us, and any other component."
