​​​​​​​Hesen Kocher: Border Crossing closures politically motivated

On the issue of closing of border crossings lately ANHA met Hesen Kocher Deputy Co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, who said the main aims behind closing border crossings in North eastern Syria are very clear''. 

Hesen Kocher said '' there are political aims behind these closures in NES, this is very far away from humanitarian and legal ones, this does not relate to humanity at all. it is to impose poverty and employment on the people that sacrificed thousands of martyrs to save humanity from most terrorist power in the world''.

Hesen Kocher said closing Tal Kocher border crossing and that of Semalka and all in areas held by Damascus government are politically motivated and hostile actions to put pressure on the region, ' humanitarian crossings should not be closed or be used as a pressing card as we in AANES do on the contrary to many countries that use border crossings as pressing cards against the of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria '.

Kocher said ' Syrian Democratic Forces sacrificed immeasurably to save humanity at large from dangers posed by ISIS, as many countries bow decide to close border crossings with the of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and to cut humanitarian aids to come to NES which houses more than a million IDPs in a step very far away from humanitarian bids''.

Hesen Kocher made it clear that they called on the international community and Security Council and many countries such as Russia to intervene and re-open border crossings anew under humanitarian grounds to reach aids to camps that are crowded with IDPs from all Syrian areas, indicating NES preserves security after liberated from ISIS and it was well economically as well prior to the blockade imposed against the region by all parts.

Hesen Kocher said closing the Tal Kocher border crossing aims to break down the economy and starvation in the region and the collapse of the of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria but peoples of the region are going to resist such steps and would surpass all hardships and impedes. 

Hesen Kocher made it clear when the SDF fighting the ISIS mercenaries the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS was working in close coordination with them, this should be the case on the Tal Kocher border crossing file to save lives of IDPs and peoples of the region.

At the end Hesen called on the international community to intervene on humanitarian grounds and not politicize such legal and humanitarian issues.
