Girê Spi Council condemns the killing of political prisoners in Turkey

The statement, was attended by dozens of members of Girê Spî and Ain Issa district committees.

The statement touched on the campaign launched by European Parliament to support parliamentarians detained in Turkish prisons, who are subjected to the most heinous violations, in light of racist measures practiced by the fascist authorities.

The statement stressed that Turkish regime's prisons hold thousands of detainees, and they are exposed on a daily basis to danger, without obtaining their rights in health care.

And the statement condemned the lifting of the prison sector’s share of the general budget by executive authorities of the fascist Turkish state, which indicates that it is continuing its policy of arbitrary arrests of politicians, and always seeks to export its internal crisis, to hide the political and economic crisis that it is facing.

The statement called for immediate release of detainees who suffer from difficult health conditions, and end all types of torture and detention, and the observance of international laws.

The statement was concluded with an appeal to international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to reveal the fate of detainees, and to put pressure on Turkish regime to stop committing inhumane practices against prisoners.
