After operating PCR laboratory - 2 deaths and 75 new infections in NES

Yesterday, Friday, the Health Body of AANES recorded two deaths, 10 recoveries, and 75 new infections with the Corona virus.

The Health Body announced the registration of two deaths of people infected with the virus in North and East Syria, a man from Kobani and a woman from al-Darbasiyah. The Body confirmed that it had recorded 75 new infections, which are: 38 males and 37 females, while 10 cases recovered.

the toll of all cases of the pandemic in NES reached 37,035 cases with 1,480 deaths and 2508 recoveries.

Joan Mustafa Co-chair of Health Body of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria had previously confirmed to ANHA that the Body after vigorous efforts, managed to secure the materials necessary to restart the laboratory for detecting people infected with the Corona virus, and confirmed that the PCR laboratory will resume its work on Thursday, December 16th.

Worth mentioning that the only (PCR) apparatus for detecting people infected with the virus in the North and East Syria went out of service on the 10th of last November, as a result of a shortage of laboratory materials, due to the siege and the closure of border crossings, especially Tal Kojer crossing.
