Third day of Social Contract meetings deal with system of councils and communes

In the presence of all members of the extended committee including 157 members, representatives of the Autonomous Administration, political parties, youth movements, jurists, civil society institutions and community events in the region, the work of the third and last day began as scheduled, of the closing meeting, in Sardam Hall in the city of Al-Hasakah.

Last Saturday, the work of the meeting, which scheduled to last for 3 consecutive days, was launched and closed to the media, came after the formation of the Autonomous Administration on July 15 of this year. The co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Change Party and a member of the Social Contract Committee, Mazkin Zeidan, told our ANHA, that the most important thing that will be discussed during the third day, saying: "The meeting will address the local administration system "councils and communes" and their tasks, after focusing on the preamble, and the general principles, during the past two days. She added: "Everything has its tasks, rights and duties, so we must give everything its full right, because the contract will serve as a constitution for the region."

Regarding the conduct of the meeting’s sessions, Mezkin Zeidan indicated that “the sessions discuss all the opinions, proposals and meetings may be extended until the final social contract is completed.”
