The Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates canton : Şengal's attack opens the way for ISIS

The Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region condemned the Turkish aggression that targeted Şengal, and warned that successive Turkish attacks would pave the way for the return of ISIS.

Yesterday, Saturday, Turkish warplanes bombed the People's Assembly building in Xanasor district in Şengal, which resulted in material damage .

The deputy co-chair of the Autonomous Administration Council in Şengal called on all Yezidis to rise up.

Today, Sunday, the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region issued a statement in front of the building of the Executive Council of the region. In the presence of administrators in civil bodies and institutions

The statement was read by the joint head of the Social Affairs and Labor Authority in the Euphrates region, Suleiman Kaishish, which reads: On 11/12/2021, the Turkish occupation aircraft bombarded the People’s Assembly building in Xanasor district in front of the eyes of the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, which claim to protect the Yazidis. This targeting comes within the Turkish state's policy aimed at annihilating the Kurdish people and eliminating the will of the Yazidi Kurdish people .

The Turkish fascist occupation did not hesitate for a moment in targeting of the struggle peoples ,whereas this terrorist attack is only part of similar attacks in all of Kurdistan through the daily repeated massacres against defenseless civilians. Thus, the terrorist Justice and Development government has proven once again its criminality especially against the Yezidi and Kurdish community in general, to the return of global terrorism represented by ISIS.

We, in the Executive Council of the Euphrates canton, support the people of Şengal and its Autonomous Administration, and denounce the Turkish attacks on the Şengal district, which aims to destabilize the region and bring it into chaos and break all ties of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence. we call upon the Iraqi government and the International community to stop these immoral violations".
