Ciya: no change in map of civilian control, we have thwarted all the enemy's attempts

 Ciya praised the honorable position of the people of Ain Issa, who cling to their land despite the fierceness of the Turkish attacks.

Ciya, in an interview with our agency, assessed the latest Turkish escalation in Ain Issa, where in the past week the district was subjected to repeated attacks and sneak attempts to control the international highway between Aleppo - Hasaka, known as the M4.

 The commander of the SDF in Girê Spî / Tal Abyad canton said, "The Turkish occupation's attacks on the Ain Issa district have not stopped, despite the agreements and truces that were agreed upon between the two parties. For two years, the Ain Issa district and the western countryside of the city of Girê Spî were bombed almost daily.

 In the same context, she added: "When evaluating the military escalations, from two years ago to this day, we see that the attacks in recent months has escalated, as the Turkish state changed its military tactics in its attacks.  Ain Issa, which is located on the international road, has escalated its attacks on the center of the district and its surroundings.

 The leadership indicated that the Turkish state used all kinds of heavy weapons on the district on daily basis, in addition to attempts to infiltrate.

 She stated, "The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries made two attempts to infiltrate the village of Sayyda, near the international road, and as a result, clashes broke out with the mercenaries."

 In her speech, she touched on the heavy bombardment of the district center during the past week, and said: "The Turkish state directly targeted the district's center, using heavy weapons. The district is overcrowded with civilians."

 She praised the resistance of the people, "The people are clinged to their land and now know that they are the owners of the right and the owners of this land. Therefore, steadfastness, resistance and struggle in the face of the occupation is their motto, no matter how hard the shells and missiles hit them, they have a high morale, and they have raised the pace of their struggle in the face of the occupation with their steadfastness and determination to live."  on their land."

 "The Turkish occupation lacks morals in war, by targeting civilians and medical centers," she added.

 'We have thwarted all infiltration attempts and occupation plans to reach the M4'

 The leadership stressed that the Syrian Democratic Forces responded "to all these attacks and all sources of bombardment within the framework of legitimate self-defense and for our people, and inflicted heavy losses on the mercenaries in equipment and lives, and thwarted all attempts to infiltrate and the occupation's plans to reach the international road and impose control over it."

 Regarding the goals of the Turkish occupation of the attacks on the Ain Issa district, the leadership of the SDF explained, "The Turkish state is trying to control the international road, because it is an important road for it, and this road is of great importance for neighboring countries, as it is considered the main road for trade and links several countries and cities together, and it is the main artery  to the peoples of the region.

 And she continued, "The Turkish state, by controlling the international road, seeks to achieve political and military goals in the region."

 Militan Jia confirmed that there is no change in the map of field control, and there is no progress for them (Turkey and mercenaries) on the contact lines, and not as they say that they reached the international road and that they occupied the villages of Sidon, Mushairfa and Jabal.

 The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Melitan Jia, concluded that the Syrian Democratic Forces are ready to defend their land and people and repel all attacks launched on the region.
