Syriacs-Armenians: targeting S. Kurdistan with gases runs against Mid-eastern peoples

Since April 23 Turkish occupation army launches a ground offensive and aerial bombardment on the Self-defence areas in Southern Kurdistan not sparing even chemical ones after the Gara defeat on 14 February 2021.

The use by Turkish occupation army of chemical gases caused wide spread outrage among Kurdish people and other components in north eastern Syria.

In the relation, co-chair of the Armenian Social Council in the city of Hasaka Nersis Qasabiyan says the use of chemical weapons and all outlawed ones on the Guerrilla fighters corroborates failure on the political arena inside the country.

Qasabyan added '' Turkey is an old enemy that used to commit massacres against Armenians as well, today history repeats itself as Turkey commits the same attacks on the Peoples' Defense Forces that are struggling for freedom of peoples''.

According to Qasabyan Turkish occupation seeks eliminate the Kurdistan liberation movement to revive the outdated bloody Ottoman policies in the whole region, '' Turkish occupation is not an enemy to the Kurds alone, rather to all peoples in the region as well the Middle East''.  

On the international silence preserved regarding the use of chemical weapons, Qasabyan says '' Turkish occupation serves great powers agendas for this reason they keep silent''. 

In turn, Syriac Member of the District, Fadi Cico agrees with Qasabyan that Turkish occupation targets all components in the region, under fighting Kurds, noting that resistance goes on, and will proceed calling at the same time on all peoples in the region to unite for that attains victory. 

Cico believes the current stage needs  intervention of the international community to end Turkish occupation crimes that aim to eliminate the democratic nation idea.

Cico called on the international community to form a special international commission to investigate on the spot use by Turkey of chemical weapons.
