Notables of the region appeal to KDP: Don’t put your hand in enemy's hand

For the 63 day, the sit-in activity continues in Semalka crossing, to demand that the bodies of the martyred Guerrilla fighters be handed over to their families.

Today, representatives of Relations Office of Internal Security Forces in Jazira region, Islamic Democratic Society Conference and the region's notables flocked to the sit-in tent.

Participants organized a march towards the border with south Kurdistan, and then a statement was read in the name of the participants in Kurdish and Arabic by Hassan Sa'adoun, a member of Relations Office in Internal Security Forces and a member of the Islamic Democratic Society Conference Sheikh Ali Amin.

The martyrs' hopes were to achieve freedom for the peoples

Sheikh Ali Amin said: "We demand that our martyred bodies be handed over to their families, they are martyrs of peace and freedom, they struggled day and night that we can live in safety. The martyrs' hopes were to achieve brotherhood and freedom for the peoples".

Sheikh Ali appealed to KDP, saying: "We regret about what is happening today on your land, and we reject all the attacks you are subjected to, If we are together, no one will be able to defeat the Kurds. Do not work with the Turkish state and Erdogan, Erdogan is an enemy, and he has already said, even if the Kurds have a tent, he will destroy it. Erdogan's war is not only against us, it is against all the Kurds".

Sheikh Ali Amin added: " hand over the bodies of our martyrs to us, and respond to the calls of the fathers and mothers. We want to bury the bodies of our martyrs in our blessed land".

Martyrs’ Families Council in Jazira region launched the sit-in tent in Semalka border crossing on October5 to demand the bodies of the two martyrs, Tolhildan Raman and Sardam Judy, who were martyred in an ambush by KDP forces.
