Shadadi Tribes Council head: AANES has preserved the territorial integrity of Syria

Late last month, the Damascus Government accused the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria of secession and attempting to enter foreign forces into the region.

The Democratic Union Party rejected Damascus' accusations against the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, and stressed that the accusations would only complicate the Syrian crisis, calling on Damascus not to deny the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces in defeating ISIS and preserving Syrian lands.

In the same context, the head of the Tribal Council in Shadadi and the notable of the Jabour tribe, Suleiman Ahmed Darwish, rejected the Damascus government’s accusations of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria of secession, and said: “The Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces are the ones who were able to preserve and liberate Syrian land from the largest terrorist organization in the world.

Darwish pointed out that the SDF’s elimination of ISIS geographically is a victory for the whole world, adding that the Syrian Democratic Forces sacrificed more than 20,000 martyrs and wounded, to purify the areas of ISIS, of which Shaddadi and the southern areas of Hasaka canton were part, and managed to win, not in favor of the administration, not only for itself, but for the whole world.

Suleiman Darwish stressed that the Democratic Autonomous Administration has never been separatist or tried to separate, saying: "On the contrary, it demands the unification of the Syrian territories, and now the Syrian Democratic Forces are ready to defend any spot in Syria exposed to terrorism.”

He called on the Damascus Government to negotiate with the administration and deal with it seriously, and said: "Decentralization is the basic solution in Syria."

Darwish pointed out that the attempts of the Autonomous Administration to negotiate with Damascus, which were met with rejection and intransigence, said: "Damascus Government is trying to use iron and fire."

The head of the Tribal Council in Shaddadi, Suleiman Ahmed Darwish, warned the Damascus Government of the consequences of its refusal to dialogue with the Autonomous Administration, and its intransigence, and said: “If Damascus does not negotiate with the Autonomous Administration, and accepts the joining of the Syrian Democratic Forces to the Syrian army in the future, and to preserve its privacy, the force will weaken. It will facilitate the way for the enemies to share Syria, as happened in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî.
