Sit-in continues on its 56th day, amid PDK's rejection of protesters' demands

 The sit-in tent has been going on at the Semalka crossing, for 56 days, amid the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s refusal to respond to the protesters’ demands to hand over the bodies of the martyrs of the guerrilla fighters, “Tulhildan Raman and Sardam Judi,” who were martyred in the treacherous ambush set up by the Kurdistan Democratic Forces in the Warkhaili area, to their families despite appeals from national forces, civil society institutions, religious affairs offices, and human rights and human rights organizations to hand over the bodies.

 All civil institutions, families of martyrs, political parties, intellectuals and all components from north and east Syria participated in the activities of the sit-in tent since October 5, to demand the bodies of the martyrs.

 National forces, political parties, dignitaries, clan elders and religious scholars flocked to the sit-in tent, but the Kurdistan Democratic Party refuses to hand over the bodies, while the political parties in north and east Syria are calling for the need to unify the Kurdish ranks in the sensitive stage the region is going through.

 Today, the people of al-Hasakah canton and the mothers of the martyrs take turns in Dirk under the sit-in tent.

 The tent was erected at the invitation of the Martyrs’ Families Council in Al-Jazira region to the sit-in to hand over the bodies of the two martyrs, Tolhildan Raman and Sardam Judi, who were martyred in the treacherous ambush set up by the Kurdistan Democratic Party on August 28-29, for 7 fighters from Guerilla in Khalifan district.  As a result, 5 fighters were killed and one wounded fighter was captured, while the seventh survived, according to a statement by the media center of the Popular Defense Forces.
