PYD congratulates world's people on PKK 43 anniversary

PYD's General Council issued a written statement, on the 43 annual anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and calling for removing it from" terror list".

''The birth of the Kurdistan Workers Party came as a result of the oppression and injustice that Kurdish people have suffered throughout history, which led to appearance of a free person with his thought and will with the Kurdish personality committed to national and human values. after the person became a group and then groups, until a political party was announced in 1978, this party established its place in heart and mind of every Kurdish person with morals and credibility of its leaders and their commitment to the values of the Kurdish society in terms of boldness, sacrifice and refusal of the tyrannical powers, where proved that in practice at every step the party took, so it deserved title of Martyrs’ Party.

Turkey with its enmity to the peoples’ freedom and democratic rights, did not remain idle otherwise, it resorted to all forms of oppression, violence and intrigue in order to prevent the spread of ideas, morals and spirit of resistance that characterizes the party, within Kurdish people and other peoples, because it found a threat to their interests based on the submissive societies. or its agents, thus campaign began against the party, which became the vanguard of the liberation of the Kurdish people and oppressed peoples in the region.

The campaign began with distortion and recruitment of Kurdish workers, as happened before , so the party was placed on the list of terrorism to hinder its activity on the global scene and its communication with international institutions and organizations.

An international conspiracy included all the forces of global hegemony to capture the pioneer of this march, the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

We in the General Council of PYD, congratulate Kurdistan' peoples and the peoples of the Middle East on the forty-third birthday of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, with thought and philosophy of the leader of the Kurdish people it has become a source of courage and an example of sacrifice and dedication in order to protect peoples and their rights, we see it as an intellectual and philosophical source for the democratic nation project Which we are working to implement it in NES. We call on all forces supporting democracy and human rights to remove it from the list of terrorism, and set Leader Apo free.
