Conference of Martyrs Families Council, concluded with a number of decisions, election of a new council

 This morning, the work of the seventh conference of the Martyrs' Families Council began in Qamishlo, under the slogan "With the revolutionary war of the people, we will defeat the occupation and fascism of the Turkish state", in the Zanna Hall in the city of Qamishlo.

200 delegates participated in the conference that included speeches by the Martyrs' Families Council, the Democratic Union Party, and the Kongra Star.

 The conference work continued by reading a report on the work carried out by the Council in the past two years by a member of the Martyrs’ Families Council, Obaid Attah.

 Opinions were met on the need to allocate 10 seats in universities and institutes for the sons of the martyrs to complete their studies, as well as establishing two clinics in the eastern and western regions of Qamishlo city, and supporting them with medical staff.

 Based on the opinions and suggestions of the participants, the conference reached a number of decisions after voting on them by the participants.

 The conference concluded with the electing 15 people as members of the Martyrs’ Families Council (7 men, 8 women), through direct voting, provided that a joint presidency of the council will be elected later.

 Then the 15 elected, and all the participants in the conference took the oath, and renewed their pledge to work and follow the footsteps of the martyrs, and the thought and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan.
