7 conference of the Martyrs' Families Council begins in Qamishlo

The conference began with the attendance of 200 delegates, in the Zana Hall in Qamishlo.

Members of civil and military councils and institutions attended the conference, Zana Hall was decorated with pictures of fighters with a lot of the leader Ocalan's sayings, and pictures of Qamishlo' massacre martyrs committed by the Turkish occupation army on November 9, which led to the martyrdom of grandfather and patriotic figure Yusuf Gulo and his two grandchildren, Mazloum and Muhammed Gulo.

Banners readd, "We will remain in the squares, even if it costs our lives, until the leader is free, and every inch of our occupied land returns from Sere-Kaniye to Afrin".

The conference includes speeches to be made by the Council of Martyrs' Families, the Democratic Union Party, Kongra Star, as well as videos about the Council of Martyrs' Families work, and reading Leader Ocalan's message to the families of the martyrs.

In addition to reading a report about the work carried out by the Council in the last two years, then it will be evaluated and discussed, and the conference is scheduled to conclude with the election of a new co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families.

The conference began with a minute of silence, after that Najah Gulo, gave a speech on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council, in which said, "We remember on this day, all the fighters who sacrificed their lives for us, and we salute their struggle".
