Serekaniye IDPs Committee: Those who demand us to return to Serekaniye, let them live there

 Officials of the so-called "ENKS Kurdish National Council" make statements from time to time through the media of the Turkish occupation state, and others affiliated with the so-called "Syrian National Coalition", and their pages  calling on the displaced from "Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî" to return to their siezed over homes by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

 In their last statements, the so-called Abdul Hakim Bashar" invited the people of the occupied city of Serêkaniyê to return, forgetting the crimes committed against the people in the occupied territories.

 These calls are always met with angry reactions and popular indignation among the people of the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, the so-called "Syrian National Army", and the areas of the so-called "Syrian Opposition Coalition".

 In this context, today, the Displaced Committee issued a written statement, stating: “Calls are issued from time to time by political figures speaking on behalf of parties living under the Turkish occupation since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, and far from reality, to demand the people of Serekaniye/  Ras al-Ain to return to their city and its countryside, without the slightest measure to ensure their safety and protection.

 The statement noted, "The call was preceded by calls for the people of Afrin after its occupation to return to it, Afrin, which witnesses on a daily basis horrific crimes and demographic change, according to official statistics and reports, until the indigenous population is living in a state of fear and anxiety.  And hostages in the hands of the factions there, where the foreign settlers are preferred over the Kurds who suffer from mistreatment and permanent abuse, and ready-made charges of dealing with the Kurdish parties.

 The statement explained, "The people of Serêkaniyê did not leave voluntarily, or left their property and memories in vain, but the occupation forced them to leave by force of arms, because Afrin's bitter experience was a model for drawing lessons from it, at a time when there are still people promoting the occupier and his mercenaries to serve their personal and cheap interests."

 He added: "These repeated attempts by these personalities who have proven their affiliation with the occupier, the latest of which is the call of the deputy head of the coalition called Abdul Hakim Bashar, the displaced to return to the city, which is in the interest of the occupying powers publicly, as these tools move according to the directives and instructions of the Turkish state and its intelligence system in order to legitimize  The occupation, polishing the image of the occupier and the forces of the Syrian coalition, and the miserable reality in those areas for global public opinion.”

 The committee called on the people of the city and its countryside to be wary of statements and calls that harm their security and safety and to reject them. The statement also called on the people to return to move themselves to live there to taste the humiliation and humiliation imposed on the indigenous population in the occupied areas.

 At the end of the statement, the Serekaniye Displaced Committee held the international community, the relevant organizations and the human rights organization responsible for these calls for the people to return to the occupied areas, stressing that these calls threaten the lives of the people and expose them to the risk of arrest, extortion and kidnapping.

 She stressed that the just and just demand on which the displaced are unanimous is the safe return without occupation, the exit of mercenary groups, and the return of rights to their owners.
