HPG refutes Turkish occupation claims of martyrdom of 4 Guerrilla fighters in Metîna

The People’s Defense Forces denied the Turkish occupation's allegations of the martyrdom of 4 Guerilla fighters in the Metîna area of the legitimate defense zones in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

HPG Media Centre, in a statement reported by the Ferat news agency, said that on 8 and 9 November, in Şîlaz village in Metîna area, had been subjected to 13 air strikes by military warplanes belonging to the Turkish occupation army.

The statement stated that the Turkish media, which is engaged in special warfare, published a claim of the martyrdom of 4 Guerilla fighters, stressing that this claim is not true.

Media Centre of the People’s Defense Forces, HPG, went on to say, "The bombing of the Turkish occupation, which targeted the Metîna villages, did not result in the martyrdom of our fighters."

Noting that the Turkish occupation army bombed the village of Dashisha and Cordina Square on November 11^th with artillery and mortar shells, and Turkish warplanes flew on November 9^th and 12^th in the sky of the Avaşîn region.
