AANES condemns Hilaliye Massacre, a 'dangerous development'

In a statement released by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria regarding the strike carried out by a Turkish drone against a civilian car in the Hilaliye Qurter of Qamishlo the AANES stated:

In a repletion of its attempts to strike at the stability in NES and in confirmation of its bids to proceed with the genocidal approach against our people the Turkish state carried out a drone strike in a civilian quarter in Qamishlo(Hilaliye) in the afternoon of November 9 2021 that led to the martyrdom of three persons from the patriotic Gulo family including the elderly Yusuf Gulo, 82.

This aggression that is carried out under the nose of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, Russia and the world at large is a grave danger on which clear stances ought to be taken towards these parts and ought to adopt a responsible role to prevent this war to develop after all plots hatched by Turkey against our people failed to the ground.

We condemn in the strongest words this aggression offering condolences to the the Gulo family pledging as well to proceed the approach undertaken by martyrs that fought and sacrifices their lives for a better life''.
