SDF arrest 2 Turkish intelligence agents in Raqqa

Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public opinion, which reads:

''In parallel with its military invasions against our safe areas in north and east Syria, the Turkish occupation state worked during the last period to form sleeper cells to carry espionage activities and terrorist operations, and striking at stability in the region, and collecting as well  information about important figures and security centers.

In this relation, Special Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, arrested two mercenaries  affiliated to Turkish Intelligence Services in Raqqa and its countryside, where they were recruited by Turkey's mercenaries in the occupied Syrian region as well as inside Turkey.

Agent Wael Dahi Al-Hammad (24 years old - Troazya) admitted he contact Turkish intelligence in the Suluk area after many temptations presented by some agents in the(Syrian National Army) mercenaries. He was assigned to collect information about the security centers and the Syrian Democratic Forces north of Raqqa. As well as traficcking explosive devices from the occupied territories to NES and give them to terrorist cells, where he was arrested by the Special Units after trying to bring in the second batch of explosives.

As for the agent Muhammad Eid Al-Eid (32 years old - Al-Raqqa), he admitted had been recruited by a person named (Mustafa Tahina) who lives in the Turkish city of Tarsu. He was assigned by Turkish intelligence photograph the military sites and send their coordinates and information to the them in exchange for money. He was arrested while he was trying to photograph one of the military sites, so his involvement in the crime was proven. 

The statement confirmed that, "The efficiency of our forces in using technology and the human sources in pursuing terrorist cells has greatly helped in detecting agents and spies, and in reducing terrorist operations that harm the society. And we call our people to beware of the occupation's plans and help our forces and the special  authorities in detecting suspicious movements."
